Fleming was founded in Donegal, Ireland in 1860 by Robert John Fleming. It has remained a family firm ever since and is now one of the oldest agricultural firms in the British Isles.

The company's success has led to a number of factory expansions since then, with the latest being a £1.1 million investment in 2013. The company now has an agile and state-of-the-art manufacturing capability, using the latest in CNC production plant to turn innovation and customer feedback into a continuously refined product range. While other manufacturers concentrate on major plant such as combines and tractors, Fleming focuses on more modest agricultural accessories.
The Fleming range is extensive and impressive. There are aerators, bale handlers, cultivation equipment, fertiliser spreaders, finishing mowers, flatbed bale trailers, front-loader buckets, general-purpose grabs, grass harrows, grass toppers, hay machinery, land rollers, muck spreaders, rotavators, shear grabs, slurry tankers, tipping trailers, transport boxes, tub feeders and yard scrapers.
A separate compact range includes arena conditioners, compact rollers, rotavators, tipping trailers, finishing mowers, hydraulic transport boxes, grass toppers, land levellers, mini muck spreaders, mounted grass harrows, single disc spreaders, tipping transport boxes, trailed fertiliser spreaders and trailed grass harrows.
The aerator range includes the five-metre folding unit and also 2.5- and three-metre standard versions. All tackle compaction and improve root health to result in a better quality of grass surfaces.
The bale handler range features eight products, including a big bale grabber, double bale tipper, double bale transporter, front-loader spike, round bale stacker, single bale tippers, square bale grabbers and a universal bale spike.
Fleming cultivation equipment features land levellers, soil masters and an arena conditioner.
The fertiliser spreader family comprises a single disc spreader, trailed fertiliser unit and wagtail fertiliser spreaders.
Finishing mowers have a cutting height adjustable between one and four inches and a floating top link to cope with uneven ground. There are two models in the flatbed trailer range, with a choice 21ft or 25ft lengths. Great capacity, heavy duty construction and sprung axles make for excellent road transportation.
Front-loader buckets range in size from 1.5 to 2.1 metres and come with or without euro brackets.
The hay machinery range includes haymakers and windrowers. The haymakers have a working width of 3.5 metres and are excellent in spreading, tedding and windrowing. The windrow can easily handle both straw and hay, lifting the crop to leave a well-aired sward.
Fleming muck spreaders range in capacity from four to 6.5 cubic yards and are suited to a wide range of tractors. Fleming offers both compact and heavy-duty rotavators. The compact models range from one to 1.5 metres, providing a tilled bed of soil for future planting. As you might expect, the heavy-duty range is designed to be extremely robust and varies in size from 1.8 to 2.1 metres. They are ideal for larger operations and are built for a longer life.
Everywhere in the Fleming range you will find logical design and sturdy construction, a combination that comes from more than 150 years of experience. Spare parts are widely available at a reasonable price.
