McHale is the product of brothers Padraic and Martin McHale, who evolved the company from a local farm machinery retail outlet to a major manufacturer of hay and forage equipment.
Read More (McHale)The McHale brothers’ first product, the Silomac, was a blockcutter that did a better job dealing with the tough ryegrass in the west of Ireland than imported equipment.
In recent times, McHale has focused on balers and bale wrappers. McHale made its first round bale wrapper in 1988, and the company developed an entire range of round bale wrappers for field and static wrapping. The success of these products prompted the company to develop a network of dealers in the UK, and McHale wrappers are now exported across Europe. In 1999, McHale built its current headquarters and production facility in Ballinrobe.
McHale moved into the round baler market in 2002 with the Fusion, a robust baler with an integrated wrapper and a patented bale transfer process. Seven years later, the firm launched its first variable chamber round baler, the V660. In 2012, McHale developed a range of straw blowers and bale feeders. In 2015, the company also added its Pro Glide mower series to its product range.
You’ll find a wide range of new and used McHale equipment for sale on Farm Machinery Locator, including round balers, disc mowers, silage feeders and bale wrappers, and more.
