Teagle Machinery was founded in 1943 close to Truro in Cornwall by William Thomas Teagle. He soon began to make his own equipment to use around the farm and this then developed into building carts and trailers to sell to other farmers in the local area.

Teagle muck spreaders, meanwhile, deliver an outstanding spread pattern, offering models from six to 15 cubic metres. They are ideal for fresh, rotted or semi-solid manures and waste products. The Teagle 'A' frame delivers effortless coupling between implement and tractor with high-strength pressings for an extremely robust linkage. Teagle is now the only UK-based company manufacturing mounted fertiliser spreaders. The twin-disc system delivers an accurate spread pattern via its quadruple overlap approach. Teagle also supplies power harrows in partnership with the Dutch company Tulip. Bale shredders make up the final product line in the Teagle range and offer a renowned level of quality and reliability.
